yeah im currently riding a rockhopper with 26ers on it. its got v-brakes and its not anything super fancy but ive only been riding for a couple weeks and i dont think i need anything to advanced right now. but thanks for showing me

You can ride anything in FL on a HT, but FS is pretty damn nice. Despite just getting back on the bike, my first run at Flatwoods on my FS was faster than anything I had done on my HT. That being said, the drops and climbs have almost become too easy. I don't mind to being too beat up after a long ride though. Ride what you like, I ride both... but what ever you ride, make sure it's a 29er ;D

well. my trek is better then your bike because the suspension didnt break after jumping two feet right? yeah, my bike hasnt broken yet. but your forks popped right off when you jumped no more then 2 and a half feet. so no. my bike is clearly not the peice of sh**, yours is.  8)

....this would be funny if you were talking about the mfg of the fork not the bike brand...
im just saying....trek nor spec. make there forks...

Trek and Specialized aren't creative enough to make their own forks. You have to go with Cannondale or Maverick for that sort of innovation.  ;D

  I Ride a 29 Full Suspension and my Friend Rides a 29 Hard Tail, and they both do Great, I am going to get a 27.5 (650B) though, they are bit more Agile to me, I have a 26 also they 27.5 is good Mid choice, but make sure to get fitted for your bike choice, the Right size frame and set up will make huge difference.  the hardtail is Lighter also to point out.
