Topic: Which direction do u ride the blue trail???

Hey all, hope all is well over the holidays!
Had an great ride at croom yesterday and was wondering which direction you prefer to ride the blue trail.
From parking lot #1 I headed N towards the pits area and turned around at the 12 mile bail out. Direction seemed pretty smooth.

I like to switch it up Clay, keeps the route fresh. Sometimes I will start at Tucker Hill and add a little more mileage, plus you have the facilities and a shower for post ride

Thanks Scott! Where do you park when you start at Tucker Hill, also do you know where the primitive campsites are in Croom???

There is parking and facilities right by the fire tower, I believe the primitive camping is almost directly across the street

Primitive camping is allowed at any area that has white bands painted around the trees.
But....you can pretty much camp anywhere along the north blue area---not much goes on there.

There is another "official" section about 1/4 of a mile west of parking lot 1.  Right about where SAG1 of the CROOM 50 is usually at.  YOu come across this section when you ride Blue north counter clockwise from parking lot 1.
