New Car Protection questions
« on: December 19, 2010, 07:03:03 PM »
We purchased a new car today (first one in 10 years) and the dealer was pushing the Dent Armor and Xzilon protection plan.  It seems pretty good, unlimited ding fixes for 3 years and paint/interior warranty for 5 years  Cost was $490.  I have not decided which way to go and wanted to see if anyone here had experience with these.  I know most dealer plans are crap but this seemed better than most.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I have that product on my bike and my bike stil looks new.ask scott.only worth it if your warranty lets you reapply it once a year .i was a manager who oversaw application off that product and mostpeople never came back if there was a problem.but if they did we reapplied it no questions which made it worth it.it could be like a free detail every year.if they fight you on warranty you got ripped.if your the type who keeps a clean and waxed car don't get it, if not, get it

Skip the paint protection BS.  Just make it a habit to wax your car with a high quality wax a couple times a year.  Never heard of the dent protection...sounds pretty interesting.  Just make sure it isn't something they would report to your insurance carrier when they fix the dings.
