Erik, I don't have any pics, but Art has ridden Jimmy's and he agrees they are cool, but won't pass the state park rules. :(
 
Just got off the phone with Art, he is gonna go scope out the trail tomorrow. He did tell me they ordered a bunch of those "pavers" with the holes in them, like the ones we used on a few spots on G-back. He agrees that he doesn't want to close the trail. If we can get a group of 10-15 on this workday we should be able to get it fixed up. He's gonna call me tomorrow and we'll figure out a game plan. I'll be sure to post back up here.
 
What day would work best for everyone? Labor day weekend, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday?

That Monday I am going to Adventure Island. Saturday is best, but could probably do Sunday too.

This pisses me off, seriously.
 
If you don't want to help maintain trails, that is fine, I'm used to it by now. But if you are gonna come on a club website and complain about the condition of the trail, the least you could do is come out and help fix the trail you get to ride. I haven't had the chance to ride in 2 1/2 months, but I have made the time to do 4 workdays so when I can go ride the trails will still be there.
 
Last month Cgarolr rode his bike over to thank us for working on the trails. As Eclark has said, don't thank me, help me. I'm not into calling people out, but if you are gonna complain about the conditions of the trails the very least you can do is come help maintain them.

Well said SFG... this is what I have been listening to for years.. everyone rides, quite a few complain and only a FEW come out and help.   We do all the work, they get the rewards of our labor. Sounds like a good deal to me. Ride for FREE, wish I could be part of that club. Never Mind, I'm not that kind of mountain biker.

Sorry all, I was out sick this week at work with me and my kids having a deep chest colds and just wasn't really up for hard manual labor given my condition...

wow, you guys sure can jump to conclusions/automatically think the worst of someone and be pretty harsh around here...
