THURSDAY Boyette workday

Wes will be taking a small crew to work on Ridgeline this Thursday. We
meet at the gate, ready to roll by 8:30am.
I suggest long pants, and your camelback with water and snacks. I
will have Gatorade. You do not need tools or a bike.

is this going to be an every thursday event? i got my first newsletter today.. and it said you guys were going to work on ridgeline on tuesdays and thursdays.. i may be able to make some of these days.. and would like to help :)

The plan was to have workdays at Boyette on Tues, Thur, and Sat until the trail is finished.  Some weeks there are scheduling conflicts, so watch for announcements on the Yahoo E-Groups and reposts to here. 

I am also trying to get Canyon finished, and redoing Big Drop, so can use as many people as I can get to come out and help.  Today 5 of us cleaned up and opened the first half of Canyon with a temporary bailout at the midway point.  I want to go back there Tuesday with a crew and finish the whole thing, so if anyone is available for Tuesday let me know and we can have another complete trail opened and being ridden.

Wes is having a crew of about 7 work on Ridgeline tomorrow, then has to post his schedule for after that.  To RSVP for any of the trail systems send an e-mail to "trails at swampclub dot org" and let them know what trail you're interested in working.

ive never ridden boyette.. so i dont know the trail system out there.. but ill let you guys know about tuesday.

what time do you get started/finish up on tuesdays and thursdays?

Never ridden Boyette?  Well, that's okay, leaves an empty spot in the parking lot for me!   ;D

This series of workdays starts at 8:30 a.m. and run to 1:00 p.m.  Some days there is the opportunity to work until 3:30 as we push to try and finish the final trails out there.

i have to wait for my new couch to be delivered on tuesday 1/13.. but if youre going out there thursday 1/15.. id like to tag along and get some volunteer hours in :)

Just re-upped my membership after a lapse... bad me. Anyway, thank you to everyone who worked on Boyette, then and now. I rode the usuals, then Abyss plus Pandemonium and all the newer trails... unbelievable. You made a great park even better. If you're not careful, it's gonna better than Alafia. :D Boyette couldn't have been in better shape yesterday.

Perhaps the wife and I will join a trail work day at some point. We helped build Shelly's loop back in the day but don't get to work days as much as we should. I figured the least I could do was become a member. :D

Workdays this week:
Wednesday 9:00 a.m.; Thursday 8:30 a.m.; and Saturday most likely 8:30 a.m.

Bring water and lunch. You can work as long as you like, but the planned workday is scheduled until 3:30.

Please reply to "trails at swampclub dot org" with day you wish to assist so we can wait for you at the gate.
