Some more food for thought...if you are a bigger guy or looking for more rear end stiffness, you can switch to a 10mm bolt-on axle and ditch your 9mm quick-release on cerain hubs.  I ordered one for my Hadley hub on my Intense and just got it.  I'm in no real hurry to get it installed right now, but I'll get it done some time after my hand is out of this damn cast.

This is a 2 minute job on the Hopes, The hub end caps simply pop in and out. Choose yhe approprate end cap, standard QR or 20mm bolt on and your done. These hubs can be serviced with tour hands no special tools required.

I'm wondering if someone can tell me about the color options on a custom wheelset built by Abner, are all colors available or is there only certain ones.

Other than for marketing reasons - which I totally understand as to most mountain bikers, 20mm through axle automatically equals DH/freeride (as noted the last time I brought up the idea of some going with a through-axle setup - I don't know why they just stuck with 20mm, but a 15mm setup is going to be worlds better from a stiffness perspective than the current 9mm quick release standard.  The only problem with it initially will be lack of hubs but if you start to see other players (Chris King, DT-Swiss, Hope etc) start to support then you'll know for sure that it is going to stick around.  The Maxle setup on my RockShox Totem is awesome and I can't see ever buying any fork in the future that doesn't have this setup or similar.

Once I can lift my Intense onto the roof of my car, I'm getting the rear axle (9mm quick release) in my Hadley hub replace with a 10mm bolt on through-axle that should really increase the stiffness in the swingarm.

I've been running the fun bolts on my King hub for some time now. It does make a noticable difference in the stiffness of the rear of the bike. I don't have to worry about the front, no flex on a lefty!
