I was about to get one for almost half the price but having a hard time believing until I bump into the below site. Heads up guys especially those who still suffering upgraditis.

Thanks for the heads up! Kinda makes ya wonder if alot of the guys complaining of creaking King headsets maybe got fakes?

Thanks Treadlight, I'm was going to order one for my Enduro next week after receiving my income tax refund,( along with some other goodies), now I know what to look for. I'll have to mention it to Chainwheel to see if they're aware of the problem also. I'm assuming they probably are.

I have had a Chris King headset for about two years. It is smooth and solid, and one of those things that seems hard to justify until you have one.

Are these fakes actually being mistakenly sold by legitimate brick and mortar retailers? Or are people buying the fakes off Ebay?
