The rain is supposed to end early Saturday morning, but I think it's rain or shine. Rain makes roots slicker than snail snot!  Grin

My family's two teams wll be there;

Crank Squad: Kenny(14) and Savannah(13)
Dirt Devils: Dad and Grayden(11)

I don't think we'll place far up on the two person team list but it's more about us beating up on each other. Family competition so to speak! Wink

While you zoom zooms are spining the SQUIRRELS will be hooking up like Lindsay Lohans lips on a bottle of Vodka.

That straw is stupid dude.

I mean, who uses crazy straws with only 3 circles? Part of the fun is watching the incoming delicious beverage travel before it hits flavortown.

Right from the bottle's fine with me. I know, no imagination! Embarrassed

I love all the smack about the teams. I'm safe, (maybe), I only have to beat my two oldest kids. Tongue

Pre and post ride beverage with sippy cups will be better but a 3 loop straw is not bad.
Ken we're  8)Cool on the team I just want to see more stronger and faster rider to do solo.
I think you can still switch from team to solo on race day tho.

Are you suggesting I should do the solo thing? I actually thought about it that way I could do laps with the kids, decisions decisions.

I know you have the legs to go solo with all the cyclocross rides but it be more fun to ride with your kid on a team.

Forecast calls for early Saturday am light rain.
Wet roots will be fun to ride on Heart Break Ridge, watch your tires specs now.

Will there be a place/opportunity based on the course layout to stage extra water bottles and be able to quickly grab?  Or is better to try to take all fluids with you.  It just seems impractical to be able to have 6 hrs of fluids on the bike.  What is the preferred process.   Thanks,

I am bringing a cooler with 6-24 oz water bottles and planning to locate it on the side of the trail.
